There’s a certain sadness in his eyes
That comes and goes
Like flashes of lightning
That cut through the darkness
Of skies
His eyes
And by the uncaring soul
They go unnoticed
And the people around him
Don’t care
Because we are blind to those subtle hints
Of sadness, unhappiness
We don’t see another’s struggle
Until the moment they end the fight
And then we mourn the loss
Of yet another beautiful boy
With a certain sadness in his eyes
